Bangladesh Premier League twenty20 third edition successfully held on November – December, 2015 and having more chance to repeat in same time in this year. BPL T20 2016 time table isn’t announced yet by BCB and didn’t meet with franchises still now. On the basis of Bangladesh cricket team tours schedule by ICC, Bangladesh cricket board will take decision for the 4th edition of BPL 2016.
It will be an easy decision for BCB to fix the date of forth BPL as tigers only have few series during this year. It’s need to mention that tigers will play 1 test against India in August, Will be busy on October-November in England tour, Black caps New Zealand will visit Bangladesh into the middle of December, 2016. Have enough time among the series as well to organize BPL. Wikipedia released expected month Nov – Dec and it was appreciated.

In last year 2015, BCB reformed Bangladesh Premier League franchise where teams took place into the tournament including Rangpur Riders, Barisal Bulls, Chittagong Vikings, Dhaka Dynamites, Comilla Victorians, Sylhet Superstars. Past franchise Khulna & Rajshahi was interested but cause of lack of sponsor BCB deny that companies. In this year having most change to involve 2 more teams where that old franchise can get opportunity to come in. Another district also crazy about to involve in BPL which is Noakhali.
Into the last season, the team of Masharafe Mortaza win the title for Comilla Victorians. Cause of few issues, BPL can’t become much more popular where low scoring match was a big fact as well. In this year, BCB should keep eyes to increase amount of venue which can be solution of this matter. Into the last year, all matches held in Sher-e-Bangladesh national stadium, Dhaka & M.A Aziz, Chittagong but in this season have chance to increase venues where Cox’s Bazar & Khulna stadium will get priority. It’s need to mention that few of U-19 world cup matches held on Cox’s Bazar stadium and right now it’s under contraction to prepare for international matches.
Bangladesh national team former captain wicket-keeper & batsman Musfiqur Rahim said few months back to media that BPL is far better then Pakistan Super League. He played for Karachi Kings in 1st edition of PSL in United Arab Emirates in last season. He tried to explain the situation and popularity of this two twenty20 leagues.
Though Indian cricketers don’t play county leagues without IPL, but rest of nations cricketers highlight Bangladesh Premier League in every year.
